The Heat Edge (Japanese: ヒートエッジ, Hīto Ejji) is a Mini 4WD PRO car released by Tamiya on September 28, 2013.

General info

The Heat Edge, like the Blast Arrow before it, featuring the fully-cowled body design that is inspired by the Le Mans Prototype race cars. It has the low flat nose, the canard-style front fenders, a 'shark-fin' (a type of vertical fin that run along the center to the rear), large air-vents on behind the front cowls, an air intake on top of the canopy and a large rear spoiler that was attached to the main body via the winglets.

Heat Edge and Red Metallic

The standard model features the red body color, with orange/yellow flame-style decals, silver stripes and flag-style decals on it.

The limited Red Metallic is the same, but with the metallic red body color. It was originally the Singapore-exclusive model, but was later made available in the marketplaces in various Tamiya official tournaments.

Both were equipped with the small-diameter fin-type low-profile wheels paired with low-profile slick tires, with the standard variant has the white wheels and black tires and the Red Metallic variant has the silver plated wheels and black tires. Both models has their chassis frame and A parts molded in gray and blue respectively.

Green Special

The Green Special featuring the black body color with cyan and green stripes all over the bodyshell.

It has the neon green wheels and both chassis and A parts were molded in light gun metal and black respectively.

Matte Light Blue Plated

The Matte Light Blue Plated featured the matte light blue plated bodyshell.

Other than that, it is mostly the same as the standard model.
