The Beams Integra (Japanese: ビームスインテグラ, Bīmusu Integura) is a R/C Mini 4WD car released by Tamiya on November 26, 2002.
It was based Beams Racing's own 4th-generation Honda Integra Type-R endurance race car that was used in the Super Taikyu Series.
General info[]
The Integra features the coupe body design, with a GT-styled rear spoiler on the rear. Various sponsors can be found on the bodyshell, they are: Tochigi Fuji Sangyo (Now GKN Driveline Torque Technology KK), Mugen, Yokohama and Beams. It was colored in white.
It was equipped with the white, small diameter RC-type wheels with the black RC slick tires. The chassis frame and A parts were molded in black and gray respectively.
About Beams Racing's Honda Integra Type-R[]
The Beams Integra is a modified Honda Integra Type-R used by the Beams Racing Team in the 2001 Super Taikyu Series of endurance race championship.
As with the road-legal car, the Integra has a modified K20 series inline-4 DOHC engine, mated to an unspecified manual gearbox which sends the power to the front wheels. It has the MacPherson struts on the front and trailing arm type suspension on the rear.
